Stephanie Goodman

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Parkinson's Exercise and Wellness

“You can see it in their body language. You can tell when someone feels delight. It’s the embodiment not just of emotion, but the embodiment of achievement.

It's not trainer-client, therapist-patient, we're both learning.

As they start doing some of these exercises, I've heard more than one person say, it's like a lightbulb went off, something happened, it's like I'm just thinking clearly. And then everything changes from that moment on.

Giving them something new, something novel, that they have to really focus on, and learn, so it's helping to make new brain connections, and all of that is tied to the HandEyeBody exercises.”

Wayne Herninko

Elementary Physical Education Specialist

“HandEyeBody works really well with that idea of ours integrating what your brain's doing, what your body's doing, and that our mind and  our bodies are thoroughly connected in what we do everyday.

It addresses physical skills that require thinking and rethinking and new thinking. And it really addresses in education a child's ability to achieve, and carries over into their ability to push through and persevere in a classroom challenge as well.

You're always looking for that intrinsic motivation, how can I get them to want to do it, but if you can hook 'em then they run with it themselves, that's the teachers kind of dream. HandEyeBody is a great way to hook the child with creative activities, and it's encouraged me to do more of that myself as I go forward with activities I've done, and come up with others as I move on.”

“HandEyeBody Coordination Charts have been a lifesaver in my therapy sessions with my younger children!”

Micah Lowe

Trainer and Athletic Skills Consultant

“One thing for me that is really important for people is catching confidence. A lot of people don't believe they can catch. They don't even try. Everybody at first, it's like " I can't do that," and after the 12th, 14th time, they're like "Oh, I can do this." And after that, I can see the confidence just start to go up.

You're never catching a ball just sitting down. You're going to have your legs up, you’re going to have your hip flexors engaged, you're going to have your core engaged, you're going to have all that type of stuff. [HandEyeBody] drills require a lot of concentration while you're just moving, making guys stay focused, stay engaged in the ball, even when you're tired at the end of the game.

One guy was struggling with being consistent in the 3rd and 4th quarter. We did a lot of the HandEyeBody drills, and I've just noticed he's snagging the balls in the 4th quarter, overtime, like it's nothing now.”

“Your videos and instructions are the absolute highlight of my week.  I save it as a treat for myself after I have finished all the admin and client care and I just get some learning time… it makes a difference!“
- Dave Lewis, Corrective Exercise Specialist/Certified Brain Health Trainer
